Let’s build a place where people want to gather. And maybe, if they don’t know God, they will enjoy coming here so much, they’ll want to come check out a service sometime.
We exist to reach next generation people for Jesus. By offering safe, fun, appropriate ministry for babies through high school students.
We can no longer afford to offer a church-centric facility only. We must identify the most palpable need in our community and then aggressively meet it…essentially giving a big chunk of our building back to our community for their use, their enjoyment and their benefit.
“To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some.” [I Corinthians 9:22]
The key, we believe, to 21st Century evangelism is “hospitality.” People no longer gather in droves for stadium crusades or tarry on a sidewalk to listen to a gospel pitch. So how can we interact with them about the things that matter most? We give them a fun, safe, quality place to come that they could not experience in any other venue. [See Hebrews 13:1-2, John 13:35, Matthew 5:47ff]
Sound too big to tackle? We must not fear dreaming too big; we must fear even more thinking too small.
