The OneLife Campaign is about reaching one more life and then another one more life and then another and yet another…for Jesus.
It’s about each of us responding joyfully to the One Who first loved us and Who calls us to love Him in return by loving the people He loves— including those who still don’t know Him.
It’s about giving up what we love…for the One we love more.
God created and equipped each one of us to make a difference. The mighty power of Jesus— the same power than conquered the grave— is working in and through each of us to change the world, one life at a time.
“Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.” [Mark 1:17]
EVERY PERSON who calls TCC their home to make a declaration of generosity, resulting in 100% participation.
Radical generosity to be celebrated over the next three years to maximize the impact of God’s kingdom.
Message from Steve
Since The Crossroads began, just twelve years ago, I have never wanted anything more than for us to be a church where reaching one more life is really all that mattered. I have been honored and feel beyond blessed to serve my God by ministering to you.
But although the past has been good and the future is also good— I feel most excited about our future, as we seek to lean in even more by leading one more person, and then another one more, to follow Jesus. And then one more after that.
In the early days, our baby church was just hoping we’d survive. In our most recent years, we’ve diligently labored to have a seismic impact. But in this time such as this, God has given us a vision and, by His grace, a provision, to enable us to achieve far more than we ever could have imagined!
Every day, as I kneel before the Father, I seek His vision and plead for His favor. And I know, without doubt, that the One Who Was and Is and Is to Come has even greater things in store for us.
My prayer is that each of us will look to the One Who lifted us from the pit— that we would seek His direction, claim His power and commit to leveraging our OneLife to changing our part of His huge world. I pray that we would take bold steps of faith, believing in the greatness of a Father Who sent His Son to save us. And because found people find people? I also pray that in addition to what we may give so that the church can build— and I pray that each of us will also commit to reaching “my one more life.” So that relationships will be restored, families healed, addictions broken and hearts mended— all through the saving grace of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Finally, I pray that all of us will awaken into an emboldened faith— and become believers who refuse to settle for less than God’s great plan for each one of us and for His kingdom. That we would sacrifice for the One Who sacrificed for us. And that the One to Whom “every knee will bow” will move through us, in a powerful way, changing neighborhoods and our community, the North Valley and, ultimately, our nation and the world— for generations to come and for eternity.
To God be the glory,
